GLENN LAYTON HOMES SUPPORTS THE MONIQUE BURR FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN
As a homebuilder, Glenn Layton Homes works hard to provide a stunning design that is smart, functional and safe. That means we meet building codes and comply with local, state and national guidelines. But the word “safe” has many contexts. When applied to children, the word “safe” has an entirely different meaning. Glenn Layton Homes is honored to partner with and sponsor the Monique Burr Foundation for Children’s annual event, A Night at Roy’s.
The Monique Burr Foundation for Children is a non-profit organization that provides curriculum to educate and protect children and teens from all types of bullying, abuse and victimization. The prevention education programs are evidence-based and evidence-informed. Schools, churches, athletic organizations and other child-centered facilities across the country are using the Monique Burr Foundation for Children programs to teach kids in an age appropriate way how to follow 5 safety rules.
As a sponsor of A Night at Roy’s Glenn Layton Homes is hoping to help raise awareness about the abuse against children across the country. This annual event is a Hawaiian-themed evening featuring Hawaiian cuisine by world renowned Chef Roy Yamaguchi. Through event participation, silent auction, wine raffle and other fund raising efforts combined with exquisite food, tropical cocktails, craft beers, fine wines and live music the Northeast Florida community makes a big impact in helping to support MBF.
A Night at Roy’s is April 30, 2019 at Roy’s Restaurant located at 2400 South 3rd Street, Jacksonville Beach. Come meet celebrity chef Roy Yamaguchi and enjoy a Hawaiian-themed evening with us as we make children across America a priority and work to prevent abuse that has become far too prevalent in our communities. To learn more about the Monique Burr Foundation and A Night at Roy’s visit their website at www.mbfpreventioneducation.org or contact their office to purchase tickets at 904-642-0210.
