Flexible Spaces Offer Private Places for Your Family

Still, these days, we understand that your needs may be changing from week to week and month to month, so it’s important to have a home that can be as flexible as your lifestyle. Whether it’s a flexible space to create a home office, a home school, or a home gym, we have a variety of home designs that can meet those needs. However, three designs really stand out: Seascape, Hammock House, and Guana Cay.

 The Seascape is a classic coastal home with four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, two stories, and 4,025 square feet, including a detached garage. The main floor is the heart of the home, with a large open plan that still creates designated spaces for a wonderful sense of flow. The covered front porch leads to an entry with an open dining room on one side and stairs and storage on the other, with additional access to a section of the home with a little more privacy where you’ll find a study, perfect for a home office, and a second bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There’s a powder room off the study, as well as a coat closet, making this study space an excellent home office if you occasionally have visiting clients. This section of the home is slightly removed, creating a sense of privacy as it’s set apart slightly from the rest of the living area. The owner’s suite is also located on the main floor of the home, allowing the upstairs to become another flexible area, depending on your needs.

 Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms that can always be used for other purposes, be they guest rooms, home offices, a home gym, and more. In addition, even should you use the bedrooms traditionally, there is a loft area that can serve a variety of purposes, including a potential area for home schooling.

 The Hammock House is built along similar lines as the Seascape with four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, two stories, and 4,015 square feet. In this case, the study is located just off the entry foyer, making it even better for anyone needing a home office to accept visiting clients. This allows for a more professional and private setup that doesn’t require visitors to move through the whole home, which also gives the rest of the family more privacy. Similarly, the upstairs area is dedicated to two additional bedrooms and has a large rec room that can serve a variety of purposes. This home also has the attractive feature of having part of the upstairs level open to the downstairs, creating an airy, spacious feeling, far removed from the fluorescent, cramped cubicles where some people may be used to working.

 Finally, for a truly spectacular coastal home, the Guana Cay can’t be missed. From the beautiful window shutters along the covered front porch to the eye-catching coastal turret, this is a home that beautifully combines style, space, comfort, and convenience. With four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and 4,492 square feet, this two-story home design makes the most of indoor/outdoor living. Open and airy, the home moves easily from the central living room to the large covered porch to the pool deck and to the covered pavilion off to the side of the pool. This pavilion can easily become a tranquil home office with just a few additions and design choices. There’s also a small study in the back of the home that is ideal. Plus, upstairs, along with the two additional bedrooms is another bonus space that can easily flex to meet your needs now and in the future.
